BERRY PARTY

• Visit a office supply store for fruit stationary. Print your invitation on the fruit stationary and include colorful confetti.

• Use fruit scented stationary for your invitation.

• Purchase berry fruit seed packets. Place a label on the back of the seed packet with the party information.

• Fill vases with sprigs of artificial berries; place them along the center of the table. Be sure the berries are firmly attached to their stems so that children will not try to eat them.

• Purchase balloons to represent a variety of berries.


ACTIVITIES
• Throw jumbo pom-poms in red (strawberries), blue (blueberries), and black (blackberries) all over the floor. Challenge the kids to pick up all three types of berry in each hand before they can put them in their berry basket.

• ”Berried” Treasure: Hide big plastic berries in a sandbox. With plastic spoons, have children hunt for “berried” treasure.

• Make berry jam.
