CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA LOAF

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/4 teaspoons cream of tartar

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate morsels

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 eggs

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Combine flour, soda, cream of tartar, walnuts, and chocolate in a large bowl; mix well, and set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients in container of electric blender; process at medium speed 20 seconds. Stir into flour mixture, mixing well.

Pour batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Makes 1 loaf
