INVITATIONS
SEED PACKET INVITATIONS #1
Materials: Seed packets, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 colored construction paper, markers, pencil, scissors, and flower stickers.
You will need one flower seed packet for each invitation.
Fold construction paper in half. Trace the outline of the seed packet on the front of the invitation. Cut diagonal slits in the corners of the outline and insert the corners of the seed packet under the slits. Write party information on the inside fold. Decorate with flower stickers.

When choosing your colors for your party, match your partyware to the flowers you will display.
• Fill a small vase with water and place floating candles in the center. Light candles when guest arrive.
• A small bouquet of flowers makes a pretty and elegant center piece for your table.
• Glue silk flowers, mini flowerpots, mini bird houses and mini seed packets to a wreath or wide brimmed hat. Hang on the front door.
• Fill mini wheelbarrows with silk flowers. Use as centerpieces.
• Place gardening books on a coffee table for your guest to enjoy.
• Decorate watering cans with acrylic paints. Place flowers inside each can. This is a wonderful centerpiece for your main table.
• Decorate your tables with elegant flower sachets.

Materials: Small stones, acrylic paints, paint brushes, stencils, pencil.
Have each guest paint designs on each stone for their garden.
Some examples: ducks, flowers, ladybugs, or names.
FLOWER POTS
Materials: Small flower pots, acrylic paints, paint brushes, stencils, pencil.
Have each guest stencil a design on the flower pot. Paint with acrylic paints.
POT A PLANT
Materials: Decorated flower pots, variety of flowers, soil.
Use your decorated flower pots to plant impatiens, pansies, marigolds, or any flower of your choice.
FLOWER ARRANGING
Materials: Small vase, foam sized to fit inside vase, variety of silk flowers, ribbon.
Before the party, prepare each vase with fitted foam. Have guest arrange a variety of stemmed silk flowers into foam to make an arrangement. Tie ribbon bow on outside of vase. Have guest take it home.
WREATH ARRANGEMENTS
Materials: Wreaths, glue, variety of silk flowers, ribbons, any small gardening tools.
Give each guest one wreath. Arrange items on wreath to get a feel of how it will look. Once your happy with the results, glue with glue gun. Tie ribbon on top of wreath. Have guest take it home.

FOOD AND
DRINKS
• Mini fruit kabobs: Use colorful plastic toothpicks and include strawberries, cantelope, honeydew melon, grapes, watermelon, and berries.
• Vegetable platter: Arrange green pepper slices, red pepper slices, carrot sticks, celery sticks, zucchini slices and red cherry tomatoes. Serve with your favorite dip.

• Vegetable stir fry
• Fruit flowers: For this platter, you will need bananas, kiwis, strawberries, and raspberries. Use a slice of banana for the center of your flower. Arrange raspberries around the banana slice. Use a slice of kiwi for the center of your flower. Arrange strawberry slices around the kiwi slice. For the stem you may use a licorice stem.

CAKES
SUNFLOWER CAKE
For this cake, you will need
1 baked 9 inch round cake, 5 cups yellow icing, 16 twinkies, mini Hershey kisses.
Place the round cake on the center of a flower serving dish. Frost the 9 inch cake with yellow frosting. For the petals, frost each twinkie and place them individually along the outer edges of your cake. Use the mini Hershey kisses to top the 9 inch cake. This will create the sunflower seeds.
Serves 8-10.
DAISY CAKE
For this cake, you will need
1 baked 9 inch round cake, 2 cups yellow icing, 16 twinkies, 3 cups white icing.
Place the round cake in the center of a flower serving dish. Frost 9 inch cake with yellow icing. For the petals, frost each twinkie with the white icing and place them individually along the outer edges of your cake. Serves 8-10.
